Overview

TransactionX is a PCI PABP v1.4 validated payment application for Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 based PCs. Installation support for both 32-bit (x86 CPU) and 64-bit (x64 and Itanium CPU) installations. TransactionX is scalable and performs equally well on a single PC installation, multiple PCs for shared multi-lane operations, and shared multiple store operations.

TransactionX has a simple interface, extensive capabilities, behaviors and appearances. While TransactionX is Hardware Flexible and supports most payment devices, receipt printers, PIN pads, pole displays, TransactionX does not require a device. TransactionX works with devices (swiped) and without devices (keyed in). TransactionX is auto-maintaining, all data (transaction history, recurring records, security and activity logs) is automatically maintained, archived and purged when needed.

Speed-up your checkout process . . . For fast moving environments TransactionX has an exclusive roaming feature that allows immediate clerk swapping from any shared installation in just seconds, just enter their roam code, enter the sales amount and press [enter], finished. Simple, quick, efficient.

Squeeze transaction costs . . . TransactionX will save you money. For swiped using thresholds for PIN debit vs. credit card always ensures your processing transactions with the best rate and fees. For keyed-in TransactionX Auto AVS Verify verifies approval on address and zip code before a transaction is submitted, automatically.

Improve operations . . . No business likes returns, but when they happen, process the return directly from transaction history. No need to re-swipe or re-key in an account number. Just several clicks of the mouse generates a speedy full or partial return, something the customer will appreciate.

Lock down security . . . TransactionX is certified with only processors that serializes a transaction. For this reason, storing sensitive data on-site is not required for normal purchases. If there is no saved sensitive data, there is no risk of data breach. For transactions that do require storing of sensitive data such-as Store & Forward and Recurring TransactionX incorporates a built-in NIST compliant TDES encryption engine which assures in keeping TransactionX data secure. In-turn keeps your operations secured.

Upgrade your business' image . . . Branding can make a significant difference on the memory of customers. Allowing companies to apply their own color combinations, images and logos gives a advantage when it come to customers impression.

Hardware rich . . . By incorporating multiple interfaces TransactionX supports most POS devices including customer-side multilane payment devices and standard PIN pads from leading manufacturers Ingenico, Hypercom, VeriFone. Works with all known keyboard wedge devices as-well. If you already have a device and it can be interfaced to the PC chances are good that TransactionX will work with it.

Low overhead . . . TransactionX is auto maintaining, no need for an IT staff to monitor web-servers or databases because TransactionX uses none of those. Just reasonable bandwidth, appropriate connections and moderate disk space. With Rev 17, notification of TransactionX updates are automatic and allows you to decide when to update.

Rev 17 available now . . . With the latest version available for downloading right now you are only minutes away from running TransactionX yourself. Download the program and test with devices, security and all the features. Receive free support during your evaluation and when ready to purchase a license, enter the License Key and a production merchant account and be ready to process.

Phone Orders, Keyed-in, Card Holder-Not Present
Auto AVS, Auto AVS Verify First, Auto CVV. Auto AVS, Auto CVV are setup configurations that can be enabled to remind you if the AVS or CVV entries are missing before a transaction is submitted. Auto AVS Verify First is where AVS verification via Credit Card Address Verify is processed before a transaction is submitted. Particularly cost effective on larger ticket transactions beyond $80 (your break-even threshold may vary depending on your business category, rate tables, etc.).
Example: $1000.00 phone order, enter customer's address number and zip code. Submit Credit Card Address Verify cost 35 cents, comes back 'address not match', ask customer to dig out their card statement and reenter the correct address, submit another Credit Card Address Verify cost total now 70 cents, this time AVS 'both match', submit transaction with best possible Card Holder not Present rate. For comparison sake, lets say my downgraded rate is 3.3% and the preferred no downgraded rate is 2.2. On this transaction we would save; downgraded cost of $33 plus fee say 35 cents equals: $33.35, less no downgraded cost of $22 plus fee of 35 cents and the AVS fees of 70 cents: $23.05. Cost savings of $10.30 on this single transaction.

Email receipts in HTML, TEXT or Both. To the Customer, Card Holder, Bank Holder, or all of them.

No receipt printer, set print to screen and the receipts display right on screen.

Retail, Over-the-counter, Card Holder Present
When used with customer-side device, fast checkout, customer swipes their own card. When used with signature capture device, even faster checkout no signing of a paper receipts. Clerk types in amount, hits [Enter], provides customer the receipt.

TransactionX is designed to work with these devices through UPOS/OPOS, a standard interface for POS devices. Doing so allows TransactionX to interface with many leading and popular Customer-side devices normally available only to dedicated Retail systems.

Customer-side Payment devices listed are PIN capable and require Key Injection (DUKPT) for Debit/ATM card transactions, just like a standard PINPad.

Yes, printing to a standard dot-matrix and laser printers work fine. Just a lot of paper for receipt output.

While we would prefer to test ALL printer devices out there, the sheer volume of different models and connection methods makes this, not impossible, but very impractical. Contact us should you wish us to test a model for you.
