Navigation
Menu or sub-menu elements, when visible, can be selected at anytime. Menus elements are 'toggle switches' meaning click to open and click again to close.

Keyboard Shortcuts
Pressing [Esc] key will reset display back to the Main Screen, ready for new amount input.
Pressing the [Ctrl] key toggles {Login} to {Logout} and vice-versa (when Security enabled) at the Main Screen.
Pressing the [Ctrl] key toggles customer-side device's PIN Entry to Signature Capture and vice-versa (when OPOS/UPOS Payment Device installed).
Pressing the [Ctrl] key toggles {Charge} button to {Auth} and vice-versa (when Authorizations enabled).
Pressing the [Spacebar] key allows the entering of a Roam code and if enabled Roam release (when Roaming enabled).

Contact Support
Click on the => Support menu item to pop-up support contacts and phone numbers window.

Run a Charge
- Press [Esc] key to reset display.
- Enter $ Amount & Press [Enter] key or click the {X} button.
- Swipe card now (requires MSR – magnetic stripe reader),
or
- Scan check now (requires MICR – magnetic check reader),
or
- Key-in (type in manually). For Credit cards or Debit cards – Click Card Account Detail to open the input section.
- Key-in Card Account Number & Expiration Date (numbers only, Expiration Date formats automatically).
- For Optional AVS – Address Verification: In Card Holder Address; enter Street or PO Box # (i.e. 970, 4750, etc.) and/or in Card Holder Zip enter Zip code.
- For Optional CVV – In CVV Number; enter (last 3 #’s on back of all cards except AMEX which is 4 #’s on front of the their card).
Note: If swiping card, AVS and CVV are not necessary.
The {Charge} button should now be ‘enabled’ (note: if negative amount entered this will be a {Refund} button).
- Press [Enter] key or click {Charge} or {Refund} to submit transaction.

Run a Void or Refund
- Click on => History. The History table appears.
- Find the original transaction and Click on it. The Transaction Detail and the History sub-menu appears.
- Click => Void from the sub-menu and follow the prompts (Voids are done with same day transactions only)
or
- Click => Refund from the sub-menu and follow the prompts (Typically refunds can be done up to 90 days old).
Note: You may change the refund amount and do a partial refund. TransactionX keeps track of multiple refunds and limits them to the the original transaction amount. You can also manually run a Refund just like a Charge only the Sale Amount would be negative (i.e. -20.00). This will run as a Credit transaction.

Daily Report
- Click on => Stats near the top of the screen,
- Click on => Register or => Store or => Enterprise and the monthly stats table appears below,
- Click on the month you want & the lower daily table for the month appears,
- Click on the day in the daily table to print or display on screen a daily transaction report.
